SLAM-FUCKING-DUNK OMG LEGIT BEST DAY OF MY LIFE. ~be warned this will be long THAT’S WHAT SHE SAID~
When we first got there we did the normal get water and look around but guess who we met. GO ON GUESS. MC LARS, he was the best everyone was so chill and we talked and he even signed my ticket. He was so adorably american :’D 
First band we saw was Adelaide, I’d never listen to them before but tbf they were a lot better than I thought they would be haha
Erm, then it was I See Stars and omgomg they were also fucking amazing, the only downside was if you weren’t in the pit you couldn’t jump (as in no one else was) but they were still incredible. The screamer was insane like considering it was live it sounded mint 
Then we went to the Jagermeister stage to see catch the last of LTA. Say Anything were after and we stayed and got quite close, they sounded epic and I love them even more now but the one thing that pissed me off was there was this proper fan girl behind me and she’s was jumping about so much (which I don’t mid because I was too) but her boobs kept hitting me in the back of the head and they were fucking painful like, I think she has weird boobs idk,
MOTION CITY SOUNDTRACK WERE LEGEND-wait for it- ARY. It was Justin Pierre’ birthday, just so you know :’) and I loved them before and I love them more than ever now, I was super close to catching a pick but it landed on the floor and the security guy picked it up and gave it to someone else *le crys* 
We had like an hour or so till our next band so we kind of wandered, got food more water ect. And at the merch guess who we met. I SEE STARS. OMG THEY WERE ADORABLE AND AMERICAN AND so chill like we talked to them like they were just another person at SD. They were miiint. 
MC Lars next and yes he too was great, at the beginning neither his or DJ’s mics were working but they worked it out eventually. During his set I needed a piss so yknow I went to the toilets and who did I come across. Lead singer from Adelaide, I walked by but because he was talking to some fan*cough*girls I kind of just nodded and smiled, and obv he smiled back, AND I’LL SAY SOMETHING RASH, *HE HAD THE MOST AMAZING, SMILE. Thought The Maine was appropriate.
But yeah after MC LARS we saw FTSK, asdfghjkl  JONATHAN COOK CAME ON IN A MULLET AND TRACKSUIT. True legend right there. Not surprisingly they were amazing but just our luck their set was cut short because the drummer was clearly pissed, all day drinking and that, so after 4/5 songs t’was over :C 
At this point I could’ve collapsed on the booze soaked grass right then and there if it wasn’t for Mayday Parade. They were beautiful as always, my favourite bit has got to be when they played Miserable at Best and it was all quite and Derek Sanders was the  playing piano so it was all quite and everyone was singing and it was so so cute. Brooks Betts looked like a lion and that was awesome. Just everything about this festival was awesome.
Me and Megan have already planned to go next year :D
